A bonded T1 line is several T1 lines bonded together creating a single big pipe connecting to the internet. A single T1 line has an upload and download speed of 1.55 Mbps, a bonded t1 has the upload and download speed multiple of that of a T1 line. So a 2x bonded T1 has a speed of 3 Mbps.
Businesses choose a bonded T1 over a DSL line when connectivity is of essence for business continuity. A bonded T1 is not shared, has a guaranteed speed, and comes with a SLA (Service Level Agreement).
